Vossloh wins Metro Valencia train contract worth €128 million
- Another 22 trains for Metro Valencia
- Each with four smartly designed cars
- Delivery starting 2010
Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat Valenciana, the (sub)urban rail operator in the Spanish region of Valencia, has again opted for Vossloh rail vehicles by ordering another 22 metro trains from Vossloh España. The contract is worth around €128 million. The first of these trendy 4-car trains will go into service in 2010; they measure around 60 meters in length and, with seating for 116, carry over 450 passengers.
